AML & KYC Policy

Last updated: 1 August 2026

Our commitment

Imperium Digital operates a risk-based anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist financing programme. No customer may purchase digital assets before identity verification is approved.

Customer identification

  • Full legal name, date of birth and residential address.
  • A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID (passport, driver's licence or national ID).
  • A live selfie matched against the submitted document.
  • Proof of address issued within the last three months (utility bill, bank statement or government letter).

Verification outcomes

Submissions are reviewed by trained compliance staff and marked approved, rejected or pending additional information. You are notified by email of every status change. Rejected submissions may be resubmitted with corrected documents.

Sanctions and PEP screening

All customers are screened against applicable sanctions lists and politically exposed person databases at onboarding and on an ongoing basis.

Source of funds

Enhanced due diligence, including source-of-funds evidence, is applied to higher-value orders, unusual patterns and higher-risk profiles.

Transaction monitoring

Orders are monitored for structuring, rapid repeat purchases, third-party payments and destination wallets associated with illicit activity via blockchain analytics.

Reporting and record keeping

Suspicious activity is reported to the relevant financial intelligence unit without notice to the customer. Identification and transaction records are retained for the statutory period.

Prohibited customers

We do not onboard sanctioned persons, customers in restricted jurisdictions, anonymous accounts, or anyone acting for an undisclosed third party.
